The IIFA Awards 2022, organised in Abu Dhabi, matched its expectations of being a star-studded event. In addition of some power-packed dance performances, movies like ‘Shershah’ dominated the award list.

The Friday night ceremony had been twice canceled in the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. But Bollywood celebrities arrived in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, excited to be a part of the ceremony.

The Green Carpet at IIFA Awards 2022 was filled with out-of-the-box outfits, trend-setting poses and a lot of glamour. While most eyes were stuck on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the looks of celebs like Ananya Pandey and Sara Ali Khan also attracted praise from fans.

Actor Shahid Kapoor ended the night with a special tribute planned for famed composer-singer Bappi Lahiri, who died in February this year. Kapoor performed on Lahiri’s famous songs like ‘Yaad aa raha hai tera Pyaar’, ‘Tamma Tamma’, ‘Raat Baaki’ and ‘I am a disco dancer’.
