The Income Tax department is conducting raids at the properties of film director Anurag Kashyap and actor Taapsee Pannu in Mumbai, reports ANI quoting Income Tax Department. 

Kashyap and Pannu are currently shooting for their upcoming film ‘Doobara’. 

The raids linked to the director-actor duo promoted Phantom Films, which is also co-promoted by producer Vikas Bahl and is linked to producer Madhu Mantena, and talent hunt company in Mumbai, reports PTI quoting officials.

According to media reports, raids took place at nearly 20 locations in Mumbai and Pune. 

Kashyap and Pannu are vocal critics of the central government and have raised their voices for many causes, including the ongoing farmers’ protests against the Centre’s farm laws.
