Singer Kelly Clarkson is set to host the 12th NFL Honors on Thursday, February 9 at Symphony Hall in Phoenix. The Emmy and Grammy-award-winning artist made the announcement in December 2022 in a social media post.
“Y’all! I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be hosting the 2023 @nfl Honors! I can’t wait to celebrate all of the best players and moments from the NFL season. [See it on TV] 9 PM ET / 8 PM CT on February 9th on @nbc, @peacocktv, and @nflnetwork,” Clarkson had posted on Instagram.
The NFL Honors was first held in 2012. The 2022 season’s best will be recognized in the ceremony at Symphony Hall on Thursday. The Associated Press’ annual prizes, the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year presented by Nationwide and the newest Pro Football Hall of Fame class the week leading up to the Super Bowl will be announced.
The Texas-born singer-songwriter shot to fame after the 2002 season of American Idol. She has a total worldwide sales of more than 25 million albums and 40 million singles.

Kelly Clarkson was married to Brandon Blackstock from 2013 to 2021. As per their divorce settlement, obtained by CNN, the singer will pay a monthly child support payment to Blackstock of $45,601. The couple has two children together and will share custody.
They have a daughter River Rose and son Remington “Remy” Alexander. The former couple met at Super Bowl XLVI in February 2012.
“Kelly is more than fine. She is doing great and facing forward,” a source told PEOPLE in August 2021.
“She’s enjoying the fact that she has the kids for the vast majority of the time and is enjoying time spent with them. Kelly always worked so hard and is a great mom,” another source told PEOPLE after the divorce. “She is very relieved that the divorce is settled. She just wants to be with her children.”
