The final part of Magic Mike will be released on the big screen the following year. Channing Tatum will reprise his role as the beloved stripper in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, completing the Magic Mike trilogy.

The movie was reworked for a theatrical release after being originally planned as an HBO Max streaming exclusive. Although the release date is still a few months away, fans got to see the first look at the new film this week.

Warner Bros. dropped a teaser of Magic Mike’s Last Dance on November 14, teasing the arrival of the official trailer. The complete trailer arrived, 24 hours later on November 15. You can view it here:
“Is there anybody on screen more charismatic and appealing than Magic Mike? We’re thrilled to be back in business with Channing, Steven, and their creative team to bring back Magic Mike’s wonderful combination of dance, drama, romance, and humor,” Warner Bros. Pictures Group Chairman Toby Emmerich said in a statement when the new film was announced.

Magic Mike’s Last Dance will be directed by Steven Soderbergh, who also helmed the original Magic Mike movie. Reid Carolin, the author of previous films, will write the new script. Salma Hayek has been brought on as the movie’s second lead, and Tatum is reprising her role as the titular stripper.

Thandiwe Newton was originally cast in the part, but a conflict forced Hayek to step in. The original plan for Magic Mike’s Last Dance was a streaming release. However, Warner Bros.’ decision to veer away from high-profile streaming projects benefited this trilogy’s conclusion.
Instead of being shelved, the film will be released in theatres, concluding Mike’s story on a grand scale. Magic Mike’s Last Dance is set to hit theatres on February 10, 2023.
