Director Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ is set to resume shooting in early September in the UK at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, reported Variety.

The film was seven weeks into production before the coronavirus pandemic halted all filming activities. Matt’s take on the DC Comics superhero is said to be a more realistic take on the Dark Knight. The Robert Pattinson starrer has approximately three months of material to shoot and could wrap up shooting within the end of the year.

In an interview with GQ in May, Robert had said that he has been held up in London during the coronavirus shutdown. Other cast members, such as Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell  have also been waiting in the U.K. during the pandemic or are expected to begin making their way back to the country soon.

Due to the delay in production, Warner Bros. has postponed the release of the film from June 2021 to October 2021. It has also recently started production on ‘The Matrix 4’ in Berlin, Germany.
