Meadow Walker, the daughter of the late Paul Walker, revealed on Wednesday night that she and her husband, Louis Thornton-Allan, are parting ways, a little over two years after their wedding. The 25-year-old shared the news online, stating, “We have come to the agreement to amicably separate.”

Meadow emphasized that the decision to split was “truly a united decision” and expressed, “We maintain mutual love and respect for one another.” She referred to her announcement as a “statement from the two of us.”

Despite being spotted together shopping in New York City a couple of weeks ago, it seems that their relationship has now taken a different turn.

The couple tied the knot in October 2021 on the sandy beaches of the Dominican Republic, with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker’s friend and ‘Fast and Furious’ co-star—who also serves as Meadow’s godfather—walking her down the aisle. This choice was particularly poignant given Paul Walker’s tragic death in a car crash in 2013. The ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, in which both Vin and Paul starred, is known for its emphasis on the theme of family.

Their Dominican Republic wedding followed shortly after their engagement announcement and only a month after they made their relationship Instagram official. While Meadow’s post did not explicitly mention divorce, it suggests that it might be a possibility in the near future.
