Famous Tamil actor Meena Sagar’s husband Vidya Sagar passed away at a very young age of 48 in Chennai. He was suffering from a lung ailment and was admitted in the hospital. The death news started taking rounds and soon there were reports stating that the actor’s husband died due to Covid-19 complications.

As the news was spread wide, Meena asked the media to stop broadcasting any kind of false information about her husband’s death.
She also requested to give her and her family some time to grieve over the loss. Meena Sagar took to her Instagram and posted a story saying, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of my loving husband Vidya Sagar. I sincerely request all media to respect our privacy and sympathize with this situation. Please stop further broadcast of any false information on this matter”.

I would like to thank all the Medical Team who tried their best, our Chief Minister, Health Minister, Radhakrishnan IAS, Colleagues, Friends, Family, Media & My loving fans for sending love and prayers. Actress Meena Sagar’s husband was not been keeping well since March after he was tested positive for Covid-19. His health had been deteriorating since then and later he was diagnosed with a lung ailment that had to be treated.
Vidya Sagar also had to be hospitalised before he breathed his last on Tuesday in Chennai.
Meena Sagar is a famous actress from the South. She has done many popular films in the South Indian Film Industry. Meena has also won many accolades including two Filmfare Awards South, three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, two Nandi Awards for Best Actress, and Cinema Express Awards. She tied a knot with Vidya Sagar in the year of 2009.
