Michelle Yeoh is going to star in Universal Pictures’ film adaptation of Wicked. She will be playing the role of Madame Morrible, who is the head of the school where Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, and Glinda, played by Ariana Grande, are students.

In the movie, Jeff Goldblum has already been confirmed to play the Wizard and Jonathan Bailey will be cast as Fiyero. Ethan Slater has been cast as Boq, another student and love interest at the school.
