The MTV Movie and TV awards on Thursday stated that it would conduct a special award ceremony to felicitate the ‘Greatest of All Times’ on December 6 at 8 pm, adding that actor Vanessa Hudgens would host the awards ceremony honouring ‘the biggest and best moments in film and TV.”

In a press release the company stated, “the 90-minute show will honour the biggest moments in film and television from the 1980’s until now.”

It also emphasised that the MTV Movie and TV awards ceremony would be ‘one of a kind’ adding it would celebrate actors and stars alongside scene-stealing moments and the best on-screen bits.

MTV also added that the show would also feature performances and exclusive footage from anticipated releases of 2021.

The company added that Hudgens who is slated to appear in the upcoming netflix film “The Princess Switch: Switched Again,” would navigate viewers through the presentation ceremony.

While MTV hosts yearly awards commemorating the best movies, best shows, best villains, best heroes, the ‘Greatest of All Times’ award ceremony is one with a difference, as it felicitates the best of the best in various categories over a period of time.

The Hollywood Reporter stated that the executive producers for the special would be MTV’s Bruce Gillmer, Wendy Plaut, Vanessa Whitewolf alongside Den of Thieves co-founder Jesse Ignjatovic and Barb Bialkowsi.

Executives in charge of production of the special award ceremony are Jackie Barb and Alicia Portugal, who will work with music talent executive Lisa Lauricella.
