The first photos of newlyweds Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani are out. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Anil Kapoor’s bungalow in Juhu on Saturday evening. The wedding was attended by family and close friends.
The first pictures that surfaced online showed Rhea and Karan sitting in the backseat of a car.
Post the wedding, Rhea’s father Anil distributed sweets to the photographers gathered outside his residence. Rhea’s sister Sonam Kapoor and the latter’s husband Anand Ahuja also posed for photos after the ceremony.
Those who attended the wedding included Rhea’s cousins Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor. Also present were her uncles Sanjay Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. Close friends Masaba Gupta and Kunal Rawal also attended the wedding.

The couple reportedly started dating over a decade ago. They met on the sets of 2009 movie Aisha, her debut production, on which he was an assistant director.
Though the couple never publicly spoke about their relationship, Rhea has often shared photos and videos featuring Karan.
On his birthday, Rhea posted a photo of her kissing him and captioned it, “Happy birthday to my growing up partner, the relief that if I never do anything right in my life again I got the most important thing right, to the reason I got a head start to being myself, truly, the love of my life. 13 years of you is not even close to enough. I feel like we just met and I’ve known you forever. #myman.”
Last Christmas, she posted a picture of them together and wrote, “Happy blurry Christmas from our loved up mess to yours. ‘Lucky are the ones who find those who love them enough to share their crap and convince them to stick around. ‘ by Rhea k 2020.”
