American football player Aaron Rodgers, in a recent interview, said he is determined to not let his family feud impact his relationship with fiancé Hollywood actor Shailene Woodley.

While talking to HollywoodLife, a source close to Rodgers revealed that “Aaron is focusing on starting his own family with Shailene,” and “continuing his career in the NFL. And he is making sure that those take his full attention.”

The Green Bay Packers quarterback has had a strained relationship with his family, which allegedly has also impacted his previous relationship with Danica Patrick and Olivia Munn.

At 37, he is now engaged to Woodley, who he says was “the best thing that’s happened to me in the last year.”

As per the source, “When it comes to his family — his parents and his brother — there has been a strain for years over so many reasons.” There have been clashes because Rodger was “feeling like his family is taking advantage of his success.”

His family’s overall attitude towards his past relationships, his religious journey have been sore points.

“[Aaron] wants to protect his relationship with Shailene, and bringing into it the drama of what he is going through with his family is not something he wants to do right now — or at all,” the source told HollywoodLife.

In an Instagram Live session, Aaron while talking about Shailene said, “I’m recently engaged, so been enjoying that part of my life. Obviously, that’s the best thing that’s happened to me in the last year.” He was talking to Julien Tornare, CEO of Zenith Watches in March 2021.

The source close to the NFL star further added that Aaron “is well aware things could become better in the future but, as of right now, he is staying in his own lane.”

Rodgers will “appreciate what he has over what he doesn’t,” instead of stressing about the family issues, according to HollywoodLife.
