Olivia discussed her spirituality and how she turned to faith when she was in danger of losing her daughter Chloe Lattanzi, now 36, while she was pregnant in the 1980s, in an interview that surfaced last year.

“I remember when I was pregnant with Chloe, and I was close to losing her at one point. I went to bed and asked God to save her and if he did, I would say the Lord’s Prayer every night for the rest of my life and so I have. I think prayer is very powerful,” Olivia said on Sarah Grynberg’s A Life of Greatness podcast.

Actor Matt Lattanzi, whom the late star married in 1984 and divorced amicably in 1995, was the father of Olivia’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi.

The late star, who was 38 years old, was closely watched by doctors while carrying Chloe in 1985 because she was regarded as “an older mother.”

The actress previously disclosed that she experienced multiple miscarriages prior to Chloe’s birth.
