Meanwhile, on June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in his Mumbai flat. The Mumbai Police first considered his death a suicide, but the inquiry was later handed to the Central Bureau of Investigation, which was joined by the Narcotics Control Bureau and Enforcement Directorate.
