Bollywood actor Rhea Chakbraborty’s brother Showik
Chakbraborty will be arrested in two hours, news agency ANI reported on Friday,
quoting Narcotics Control Bureau. The report also stated that Samuel Miranda,
who was the former house manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, will also be arrested.
However, the formal process is underway.

Earlier in the day, the NCB had detained Miranda under
provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

The detention was made following the NCB’s simultaneous
search operations conducted at actor Rhea Chakraborty and Miranda’s houses.

Rhea Chakraborty has been accused of abetting
Sushant’s suicide,  in an FIR which had been filed by his father KK Singh in
July. The case has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation
(CBI) following an order from the Supreme Court.

The 28-year-old is also being investigated by the
Enforcement Directorate (ED) on money laundering charges and the NCB for her
purported links with the drug peddlers, that have been arrested.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his flat in Mumbai’s
Bandra on June 14. The Mumbai Police has initially said that the 34-year-old
actor died by suicide, however, the case was later transferred to the CBI
following a Supreme Court’s order on the plea of Rajput’s family.
