The countdown has begun for one of Bollywood’s most anticipated
weddings as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor prepare to marry next week. The couple
has been dating for several years, and fans have been waiting for them to take
their relationship to the next level.

Ahead of the wedding, the reception card from the wedding of Neetu
Singh and Rishi Kapoor has gone viral on the internet. The  card was
uploaded in 2020 and has become viral now that their son is about to tie the
knot.

The text on the reception card reads, “Mr & Mrs Raj
Kapoor request the pleasure of your company on the auspicious occasion of the
marriage reception of their son Rishi (Grandson of Late Mr. and Mrs. Prithviraj
Kapoor) with Neetu (Daughter of Mrs. Rajee Singh).” Neetu Singh and Rishi
Kapoor tied the knot at RK Studios. On January 23, 1980, they held a wedding
reception for their friends and family.

Coming back to Ranbir and Alia, their wedding will take place
according to Punjabi rites on April 15. Alia Bhatt’s house in Bandra will host
the Mehendi event on April 13.

Details of Ranbir’s bachelor party as well as the guest list have
been released too. Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, Varun
Dhawan,
Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan are among the guests at the
wedding.

Only close friends and family members are expected to attend the
wedding festivities, and Ranbir and Alia  will subsequently organise
a  reception for their industry colleagues. Alia is expected to wear a
Sabyasachi lehenga, according to reports.

Fans have been gushing over the news ever since it broke. One fan
wrote, “It’s been a longggggg journey and now they’re finally getting married
#RanbirKapoor #AliaBhatt”. Another tweeted, “These two cuties are getting
married. No nazar on them pls. They made me an emotional mess during this
event, imagine how beautiful their wedding pics will be #AliaBhatt
#RanbirKapoor”. 

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will star in Ayan
Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which is set for release in September.
