Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have been totally different in the country this year due to COVID-19. From low-key pujas at home, to ‘digital darshan’ of the idols, the grand festive mood was somewhere missing on Saturday. Although celebrations at actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s were a little different this year.
The couple came up with a special idea and let their son Taimur build a Ganesha idol, instead of bringing one from outside. The three-year-old made it with Lego building blocks, Kareena shared it on her Instagram.
“Ganpati celebrations might be a little different this year… But Tim made sure the festival was on point by making a beautiful Lego Ganesh ji for us,” she wrote on the post, sharing two pictures of the idol.
“Wishing you all a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Praying for peace, everyone’s health and safety,” Kareena added.
