Singer Adele helped two people get engaged during her “One Night Only” concert TV special that aired on CBS on Sunday. The concert also featured stars such as Lizzo, Melissa McCarthy and Seth Rogen.

During the concert, the singer told the audience that a couple, named Quentin and Ashley, had been in a relationship for close to seven years. She asked the audience to be quiet so that Quentin could propose to his girlfriend on the stage.

“I need every person to be really quiet, alright? If you make a noise, I’m going to kill you,” she tells the audience.

Lights were then dimmed so that Ashley couldn’t see where she was. She was then blindfolded and led to the stage by Quentin. Once on stage, she took her blindfold off and saw her boyfriend on one knee.

“Thank God, you didn’t let me eat. I would have thrown up,” Ashley tells before accepting the proposal. Following this, the singer appeared on stage, taking the new bride-to-be by shock.

Adele then asked the couple to sit in the front row near Lizzo and Melissa McCarthy, and said, “Thank God she said yes because I didn’t know who I was going to sing this song to next. You or him, oh my God! Look at her, she’s so in shock! Oh, that was lovely. I had a little cry.”

Adele sang her next song dedicated to the couple, “Make You Feel My Love.”

Last month, Adele confirmed her relationship with Rich Paul. In an interview with Vogue, the singer, who is known to be private about her personal life, confirmed dating sports agent Rich Paul. The couple sparked romance rumours in July this year when they attended a NBA match together.

“We’re very happy. And I didn’t get dragged along to the [basketball game the other night] because that’s his line of work. I was like, ‘We’re going to the game,'” she said.
