Bollywood actor Sunny Deol took to his Twitter handle to share a teaser poster of his upcoming project with a promise of announce ‘something very special’ on Dussehra.

The poster has number ‘2’ written on it, indicating that it is the second part of a previous film. It also has a line, ‘The Katha Continues…’ written on it. Sunny’s blockbuster film, ‘Gadar’ also had a tagline that read, ‘Ek Prem Katha’. 

Along with the poster, Sunny wrote, “Announcing Something very special and close to my heart tomorrow at 11 am. Watch this space tomorrow.”

Fans were quick to guess that his upcoming film has to be ‘Gadar 2’.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Anil Sharma is once again directing the project and it will reportedly go on floors from November 2021. It is said that Anil Sharma and his team of writers have been trying to crack the plot of a sequel to ‘Gadar’ for a while now and they finally have the entire screenplay in place.

Elaborating further, the report added that much like the first part, the sequel too will speak of the India – Pakistan conflict with Sunny Deol taking down the entire country. The pre-production work has already begun and the makers are gearing up to take the film on floors around the month of November.
