Commenting on the CBI’s handling of the case, Singh told news agency ANI, “It’s very surprising that CBI hasn’t been able to do anything. CBI should have done custodial interrogation of persons named in FIR & those who were at his residence especially (Siddharth) Pithani because he changed his stand.”
According to the lawyer of Sushant’s family, Sidharth Pithani, the late actor’s flatmate, had been initially in support of the family pursuing a criminal case, but later “did a turn-around” as he became one of the accused in the case.
He had called it “poetic justice” when Pithani had been taken into judicial custody last month.

“Today, I’ve also seen some AIIMS reports coming out. Same head of AIIMS told me personally when he had seen the strangulation mark from picture of SSR that this is 200% strangulation, (sic)” the family’s lawyer said, as quoted by ANI.
