Taylor Swift has been putting in a lot of extra hours. The singer-songwriter has just sent Swifties into overdrive with a short film for her heart-break track ‘All Too Well,’ which follows her rerelease of the iconic ‘Red‘ album and multiple talk-show appearances. We’re breaking down everything we’ve learned so far, including the star-studded cast and when and where to watch.

On ‘Red (Taylor’s Version),’ the singer-songwriter previously revealed that she would be releasing a 10-minute long version of the song.

The film will star actor Dylan O’Brien and actress Sadie Sink, and it is written and directed by Taylor herself! Sink once admitted that “All Too Well” is her favourite song to scream the lyrics to, so it appears that the short film was destined for her. “You don’t even know how excited I am. It’s all I’ve ever wanted, really,” the Netflix star told MTV.

The plot of the short film is currently unknown, but sharp-eyed Swifties believe the video will focus on the singer’s relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal, who inspired the song.

In fact, given that Sadie and Dylan are about 10 years apart in age, similar to Taylor and Jake, some fans believe the casting decision was made with care. It’s no secret that the artist enjoys incorporating easter eggs into her work.

Swift shared a snap of O’Brien and Sink on her Instagram account, writing, “Shot on 35mm film with cinematography by the brilliant @the_rinayang. Plan your watch parties or grab your blanket and curl up into a ball.”

On Friday, November 12, at 7 pm Eastern Time, you can watch ‘All Too Well The Short Film’ on YouTube.
