%u2018Ted Lasso%u2019 season 2 is here and it is even better than the near-perfect season one. The first season debuted last year and served as a breath of fresh air as the world dealt with hopelessness and isolation.

Jason Sudeikis starrer Ted Lasso has a midwestern American football coach being recruited by a down-on-luck English football team. Rebecca Welton played by Hannah Waddingham wants to run the team into the ground after winning it in settlement from her cheating ex-husband.

Rebecca sees Ted Lasso as a perfect fit as he has no knowledge about football and he does not seem to care whether the team, called AFC Richmond, wins or loses. The players of the team are dubious of ted as they consider him as an outsider who is in England to chill.

The episode starts with Ted Lasso showing us Richmond%u2019s tally and the club has had a series of ties. On the other hand, Rebecca free of the shadow of her husband starts dating again. While not much happens in the episode plot-wise, the writing and acting remain great like always. The show’s kind and gentle humor remain appealing and fresh in season 2 as well.

So far, fans seem to enjoy Ted Lasso season 2 as there have not been any negative reviews about the same. Watching the show feels like spending time with a good friend you%u2019ve met after a long time. It does not do anything radically different from the first season, but as the saying goes, if it ain%u2019t broke, don%u2019t fix it.
