Tia Mowry, the American actor, announced her separation from her husband of 14 years, Cory Hardrict, another American actor, on Tuesday via an Instagram post. She said in court that the separation was prompted by “irreconcilable differences” between the two, according to documents obtained by media outlet TMZ.
The 44-year-old actress has two children with Hardict, son Cree, 11, and daughter Cairo, four. Cree is a child actor who appeared in Career Suicide: Arthur’s Edge (2017), Family Reunion (2020) and Tia Mowry at Home (2015-2016).

TMZ reported that Mowry and Hardrict have sought joint custody of the children. In her Instagram post as well, she wrote that they will maintain a friendship while co-parenting their children.
“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” the actress said, adding, “we will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.”

“I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
Tia Mowry started off her acting career in 1994 when she appeared alongside her sister Tamera Mowry in the TV show Sister, Sister. Mowry has since worked in shows like Twitches Too (2007), The Game (2006-2015) and The Hot Chick (2002).
