Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, who made their Bollywood debut
together with Heropanti in 2014, have reunited for the first time since for a
song in Heropanti 2‘s sequel. In the remix, Tiger and Kriti, whose first film’s
song Whistle Baja was a hit, performed a new version of the song’s hook step:
Whistle Baja 2.0.

“Mere aur @kritisanon ke naal Whistle Baja (music notes
emoji) Back to my grooves with #WhistleBaja 2.0, song out now,” Tiger
posted on his social media on Friday, sharing a link to the new song. Tiger and
Kriti haven’t been seen together on screen since their first appearance eight
years ago.

Tiger can be seen pulling off some incredible dance routines in a
colourful sequin jacket in the video for the song before Kriti enters the scene
in a blue outfit. Tiger and Kriti then do a revised version of the hook step
and shake a leg together on the dance floor.

AR Rahman composed the song, which Mika Singh and Neeti Mohan
sang. Mehboob penned the lyrics. Manj Musik, Nindy Kaur and Raftaar sang
the original Whistle Baja tune, which had lyrics written by Raftaar.

Fans were filled with nostalgia after seeing Tiger and Kriti
together after a long time, and they expressed their desire to witness
their magic once more. As one person put it, “This song means a lot to me
coz because of this song I became A Tigerian and A Kritian And this song will
be the most special song for me till the last breath of my life .! Kritiger,
thank you for coming back with this masterpiece.”  Another person added,
“My god after 8years these 2 back again together and we will see them
sharing screen space in Ganpath in dec this year super duper excited. This 2.0
is just (fire emojis).”

Tiger will star alongside Tara Sutaria in Heropanti 2, a film
directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala that is set to hit
theatres on April 29. Meanwhile, he’ll be seen in Ganpath, an action thriller
directed by Vikas Bahl, with Kriti Sanon.
