The first four episodes of Too Hot To Handle Season 5 aired on Netflix on July 14. This show moves away from the conventional format of a dating reality TV competition. It is centered around attractive singles in a beach setting. What sets this show apart is its intriguing twist: a strict prohibition on sexual activity among the contestants, aimed at fostering more meaningful connections. Policing these restrictions is Lana, an unconventional cone-shaped robot that introduces challenges to the participants. With physical intimacy off-limits, the contestants are compelled to explore alternative avenues for bonding and deepening their relationships.

Just as the first four episodes of the season dropped on Netflix, fans of the show quickly reacted to the new installment, with many expressing their disappointment over the new cast. Some social media users also branded the latest season the “worst” so far.

The current season of the show showcases ten individual contestants: Louis, Hannah, Courtney, Hunter, Megan, Dre, Alex, Christine, Isaac, and Elyse. As the season progresses, the contestants face the prospect of a $200,000 cash prize, but there’s a catch—the prize money gradually diminishes as the participants break the rules of the game. The show is narrated by Desiree Burch, while the host Lana oversees all activities.
