Nearly five years after Astroword in 2018, Travis Scott released his new album, Utopia. Numerous musicians are featured on the 19-track album, including Beyonce, who had been ardently promoting the Delresto track on her own social media channels.
On July 28, Travis Scott finally dropped the eagerly awaited single DELRESTO. Scott’s distinctive blend of hip-hop and trap can be heard on the dark and atmospheric track. The song is given a soulful touch by Beyoncé’s vocals, and the two performers’ voices meld together flawlessly. On streaming services, DELRESTO has already achieved success; it is presently placed second on Spotify’s most popular playlist, Today’s Top Hits.

Delresto, which is written as Del resto in Italian, means moreover, however, or even after all. According to Pop Buzz, the lyrics of the song appear to discuss the feeling of freedom and the meaning of life because the song includes bars from Beyonce and Travis’s private lives.
In the song, Beyonce raps the verses: “Statues in the next room / Billions in escrow / Bulletproof the whole thing” and “Ignore the dress code / Step into the ballroom / So hard to let go / Things that never give life / I can see the echoes.” Here, initially, she may be talking about the new multimillion property she and Jay-Z own and the subsequent part could be a ballroom culture reference as seen on Renaissance.
People on social media went into a frenzy after this song was released, with one Twitter user commenting, “idk bout y’all, but Delresto (echoes) by travis scott & beyoncé got me moving,” while another one replied to the haters saying, “not everyone can be in the superior headspace to appreciate the greatness that is DELRESTO (ECHOES) and that’s okay.”
A third social media user posted, “Why did god have to give Beyonce such a powerful & commanding voice, as you hear one syllable out of her mouth you KNOW it’s her, we don’t call her Queen B for nothing,” and a fourth one said, “Delresto sounds like a song that was meant to be on renaissance but didn’t make the Final Cut by Beyonce so Travis took it and of course blessed us by putting it on utopia.”
