Piers Morgan, the host of “Good Morning Britain” walked out of the set the morning show after a colleague called him out for his rants against Meghan Markle and Prince Harry following their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

His co-presenter Alex Beresford criticized his “diabolical” tirades against the Sussexes, particularly against Markle, and how easily Morgan dismissed issues of mental health and suicide ideation, reports Hollywoodreporter.com.

Beresford then brought up Morgan’s previous relationship with Markle, suggesting that he was somewhat obsessed, which led to him dramatically leaving the set.

“I understand you don’t like Meghan Markle, you’ve made it so clear a number of times on this program, a number of times,” he said.

He continued: “And I understand you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or you had one and she cut you off. She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has and yet you continue to trash her.”

Morgan is then heard to say “I’m done with this. See you later” and “sorry, I can’t do this” as he’s seen to head for the studio exit. Speaking to his colleagues, Beresford adds: “Absolutely diabolical behavior. I’m sorry but Piers spouts off on a regular basis and we all have to sit there and listen… It’s incredibly hard to watch.”

On Monday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Morgan opened the show by saying that Prince Harry had “spray-gunned” his family with the interview and that it was “so disloyal.”

He focused most of his contempt for Markle, however, repeatedly accusing the Duchess of Sussex of lying, acting and playing the victim as well as belittling her claims of mental anguish and racism.
