Bobby Moudy who came to fame as a TikTok star has committed suicide at the age of 46, according to his family.

James Robert Moudy, fondly known as Bobby, died on April 28 after battling with ‘financial problems,’ according to a statement released by his family.

‘Bobby was full of life and laughs. But also weighed down by financial pressures. His wife, Jennifer and their three children are in an emotional and financial crisis as he was their rock,’ as per the statements.

On TikTok, the social media celebrity and ‘beloved father and husband’ had 360,000 followers and over 18.6 million likes, and he posted his final video just two days before his death.

The musician leaves behind his wife Jennifer and his three children, Kaytlin, Max, and Charleigh, who were a regular fixture on his ‘day-in-the-life’ videos, which received millions of views.

His most recent video was of his daughter Kaytlin, who had appeared frequently on his Tik Tok page throughout the years. In his bio, the devoted father even stated that he was “just here to embarrass my daughter.”

“On April 28th my best friend was able to see our Heavenly Father.” Kaitlyn penned in her own sorrowful message, “he was the most amazing dad, brother, uncle, and friend. He had such an impact on not only his family but those around him. He was and is still so loved by so many. He will forever be remembered. I hope you’re hugging Louie tight for us. We’re counting down the days until we see you again.”

According to his obituary, he met Jennifer in 1999, married in 2004, and began their family, where he became a “devoted husband, father, and brother.”

Jenny paid heartfelt homage to the TikTok dad, posting a montage of photographs of her late spouse over Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow song.
