Dipika Kakar is an Indian television actor who has worked in serials like Sasural Simar Ka in which she played the lead role of Simar Bhardwaj. Kakar participated in the reality TV show Bigg Boss’ season 12 and emerged as the winner of the season.

Kakar is married to Shoaib Ibrahim, her co-star from Sasural Simar Ka in 2018. Since 2019, she has been portraying as Sonakshi Rastogi in Star Plus serial Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. The actor has won and been nominated several awards including Indian Telly Awards and Gold Awards.

Recently, she announced that she will be portraying the character of Simar again in Sasural Simar Ka 2. The actress got her breakthrough in the TV career with her first soap, Sasural Simar Ka.
