Kaalan Walker an actor-rapper who starred in the 2018 movie SuperFly was sentenced to 50 years of life in prison for sexual sex-related offenses involving three teenagers and four young women that happened in 2013.

Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace, told City News Service that she thinks the defendant is “really a predator”. Superior Court Judge Joseph Brandolino also mandated that Kaalan Walker, 27, should register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Who is Kaalan Walker?

Kaalan Walker is an actor, singer and a rapper who was born on March 28, 1995, in California, United States. He was raised in a Christian family. 

He started his career in 2016. Kaalan Walker’s starred alongside Halle Berry in the 2017 film Kings. He then appeared in the movie Superfly the following year.

In the same year he appeared in the TV series Contempt which earned major fame and recognition.

However, just when his career was about to take off, he was taken into custody in 2018 and charged with nine counts of felony sexual assault and rape dating back to 2016. 

Prosecutors told the court that he allegedly used his Instagram and Twitter handles to lure women to locations he chose by telling them that he had booked them for fake photo or music video shoots. He also allegedly lured them by promising of introducing them to someone famous such as Drake. 

In March 2021, Walker was released on reduced bail because of COVID but his alleged victims were not made aware.

Apart from acting he has also launched many singles and music albums. Kaalan Walker also has his own YouTube channel with over 102 K subscribers.
