A man was arrested on Monday morning for allegedly stalking outside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s California home.

According to TMZ, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office got a call at around 2 am on Monday from the security staffers at Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion for a man seen lurking near the Duke and Duchess’s private property. The police responded to the scene and the man was booked on misdemeanor stalking charges.

It is not clear if Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, or any of their children were at the house at the time of the incident. The man has been identified by the police as Kevin Garcia Valdovinos.

Who is Kevin Garcia Valdovinos?

Kevin Garcia Valdovinos is 29 years old and he was released on $2,500 bail.

He was placed under citizen’s arrest by Harry and Meghan’s security by the time the police arrived at the entrance of the property. According to TMZ, he told the security something that caused them to get suspicious of his actions and arrest him.

He never really made it inside the property. However, the publication also reported that Valdovinos had previously done something like this before. No other information was available regarding his potential crimes in the past or whether he was ever arrested for them.

This is not the first time that Harry and Meghan’s home in California has been jeopardized. A man named Nickolas Brooks allegedly drove all the way from Ohio on Christmas Eve 2020. He was caught trespassing on their private property but was never arrested. He was left with just a warning the first time. However, according to the police, Brooks returned yet again on December 26, 2020, and was arrested for trespassing.
