Pete Davidson’s alleged stalker Michelle Mootreddy has been declared unfit to stand trial, TMZ first broke the story. The entertainment website added that police said that the woman trespassed the Saturday Night Live star’s property and claimed to be his wife.

The Staten Island District Attorney told TMZ that Mootreddy has been placed in psychiatric custody and will receive treatment.

“Ms. [Michelle] Mootreddy is unfit to stand trial. She has been placed in the custody of a psychiatric facility where she will receive treatment and regular evaluations to determine whether or not she is able to return and participate in her defense,” authorities told the website.

Michelle Mootreddy has been accused of sneaking into Davidson’s house when he was not there. Prosecutors in the court documents said that she knocked on the front door first and was asked exit the premises. However, she then snuck in via a side door that led her to the kitchen.

Mootreddy told Pete’s relative, who was at home, that: “I’m here for Pete. Pete told me to come here.”

Mootreddy was charged with second and third degree  burglary, two misdemeanor counts of stalking, and two for criminal trespass and harassment. She, reportedly, shared a fake press release days before the alleged trespassing. She claimed that she and Pete tied the knot.

The ‘SNL’ alum got court-ordered protection against Mootreddy after she was arrested.

Who is Michelle Mootreddy?

Mootreddy, as per reports, lives on the 200 block of East Mount Eden Parkway. She is in her mid 20s. According to several media reports, Mootreddy identifies as they/them.

“This news would be important to your audience because Pete Davidson is a Staten Island native and demonstrates his commitment to giving back to the community,” Mootreddy wrote in an email to the Advance/SILive.com.

“While most of the work has been based in the Bronx, Pete will be expanding the platform to Staten Island this summer.”
