Who is Ricardo Juarez?

Ricardo Juarez is a 35-year-old LA Dodgers fan who stormed into Chavez Ravine to propose to his girlfriend Ramona Saavedra. The incident happened last week during Dodgers’ opening day match against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

As soon as he does it, the security blindsides him and takes him down. Juarez later told TMZ that the hit hurt him and he was in a great deal of pain. Saavedra revealed that Juarez had to be taken to the hospital, but it was nothing more than a bad bruising, and he is fine now.

“Yeah, one year,” Saavedra says, reacting to the ban. “But, I mean, he’ll live, right?!”. Juarez said that he had initially planned to propose in the stands itself, but changed his plans after realizing how close he was to the stadium.

“He always tries to do everything with a lot of love,” Saavedra continued. The duo has been together for three years now, and after Thursday’s proposal, they are now planning to tie the knot in August this year.
