Kannada actress Swathi Sathish suffered a botched root canal that left her face swollen. 

Sathish, who lives in the city of Bengaluru, did not have any idea that her simple tooth treatment would turn into a horror. According to reports, she underwent the procedure at a private hospital in the city.

Following the procedure, she underwent severe pain and her face was swollen. The actor suffered a major physical setback after the surgery.

The doctor treated her 20 days before and told her that the swelling will be there for two days, reports said. But, within days her entire face was swollen and she was completely unrecognisable.

Sathish is known for her roles in films like FIR and6 to 6. The actress is also a known television anchor. She has done several shows in the regional language of Karnataka.

Following the incident, Sathish accused the clinic of medical negligence. She said that she is considering legal options against the clinic as her work life is affected due to her facial condition.

The actor is currently receiving treatment for her swollen face from a different medical facility. 

According to Times Now, doctors at the facility gave her salicylic acid instead of anaesthesia. The actress also claimed that the doctors gave her inaccurate information about the treatment. The hospital has not responded so far about the incident.
