American rapper Aaron Carter was found dead at his California home on Saturday at the age of 34.
According to TMZ, the “Aaron Party” singer was found in his bathtub. Law enforcement sources said that they received a 911 call following which officers were dispatched to the scene.
Detectives are currently investigating the death as a homicide. However, the line of investigation is a standard procedure, TMZ added.

Who was Aaron Carter?
Aaron was born in Tampa, Florida, where his parents, Jane Elizabeth and Robert Gene Carter ran a retirement home. He is known for being the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys Nick Carter.
In addition to his brother, he has three sisters: twin sister Angel (a model), B.J. and Leslie (1986–2012).
Carter attended the Frank D. Miles Elementary School and the Ruskin School in Florida.
Carter, who rose to fame as a child star with hits like “I Want Candy” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq,” has a net worth of $400,000, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Carter became a teen idol in the late 1990s. He released his self-titled debut album in 1997. At the age nine, he sold a million copies worldwide. His second album Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) (2000) sold three million copies in the US. He also toured as the opening act of Backstreet Boys.
Aaron appeared on Dancing with the Stars, the Broadway musical Seussical, the off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks, and made several one-off performances.
In 2014, he released a single featuring rapper Pat SoLo, “Ooh Wee”.
Carter released the single, “Fool’s Gold”, on April 1, 2016, and an EP titled LøVë in February 2017. His fifth studio album of the same name was released on February 16, 2018.
