Billy Miller, Daytime Emmy winner, who was best known for playing Billy Abbott on Young and the Restless and Drew Cain on General Hospital has died at the age of 43. He died two days shy of his 44th birthday.

His death was first reported by Michael Fairman TV. According to Fairman, Miller’s death was confirmed by someone at The Belmont, a Los Angeles restaurant bar that Miller co-owned.

Who was Billy Miller?

Miller was born on September 17, 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in communications. After moving to Los Angeles, he found employment in the mailroom of Industry Entertainment.

After signing with the Wilhelmina modeling agency, Miller obtained his first big break to appear in six commercials, including two for Electronic Arts’ The Sims.

Miller was cast in 2007 as bad boy Richie Novak on All My Children who terrorized his sister Annie. In 2008, the actor traveled to the West Coast after landing the role of Billy Abbott on Young and the Restless – a role he played till 2014. He won three Daytime Emmys for his work in Genoa City. He also won honors for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Drama Series in 2010 and in 2013. In 2014, Miller took home the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Miller was reportedly in a relationship with Kelly Monaco, an actress since 2015. Monaco was born in May 23, 1976, in Pennsylvania. Monaco began her acting career with acting classes at Pocono Mountain High School.

Her breakthrough came when Mocaco sent her picture to the Playboy Magazine in 1996. She became the Playmate of the Month in April 1997. She joined the cast of General Hospital in September 2003. In 2003 and 2006, she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her role on Post Charles and Outstanding Lead Actress for General Hospital respectively.

In 2009, she worked with Donald Trump when the former president and Paula Shugart named her judge for that year’s Miss USA pageant.
