Darren Kent, a British actor who appeared in EastEnders and the BBC series Game of Thrones, passed away at the age of 36.

The actor, who tragically passed away this week after a protracted health fight, portrayed a Slavers Bay goatherd in the HBO popular series.

Darren has collaborated with a number of well-known Hollywood figures, including Kiefer Sutherland and Kristen Stewart from 24. The British actor starred in EastEnders and Snow White and the Huntsman during his performing career.

The British actor struggled with and beat osteoporosis, arthritis, and a very uncommon skin condition.

His friends and fans have flooded social media with heartfelt tributes to the star and praised his talent.

Darren’s agency Carey Dodd Associates announced his death on Twitter, writing: ‘It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday.

‘His parents and best friend by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family in this difficult time. RIP my friend’.

TV and theatre star Lee Mead – who starred in Darren’s film Mein Freund – also voiced his sadness at the news.
