Jessica Whalley, a former beauty queen, died yesterday at the stables owned by ex-Liverpool and England player Michael Owen.

According to observers, Owen and employees at Manor House Stables were in tears when horsewoman Whalley, 25, collapsed and could not be revived by rescuers.

Who is Jessica Whalley?

Born in 1998, Jessica Whalley was a horsewoman and former beauty queen. On March 28, 2023, she died at the stables held by ex-Liverpool and England player Michael Owen. She competed in the Miss Tourism Universe competition in 2019, which was hosted in Beirut and aired on MTV, and she placed among the top 10.

When Whalley, collapsed at the age of 25 and could not be revived by rescuers, observers claim that Owen and the employees at Manor House Stables were in tears.

She worked as a transport manager at the horses near Malpas, Cheshire, which are also run by the former striker’s daughter, Love Island actress Gemma Owen, 19. She was known as Jess to her coworkers. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Whalley identified herself as the “traveling head person” at Manor House Stables as well as the employee of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, who is the owner of a sizable global network of thoroughbred stables.

She is named as one of the transport managers at Manor House Stables in formal papers released by the Office of the Traffic Commissioner this month.

Message issued by Manor House Stables read: ‘It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that a much-valued member of our team died at work this morning. The family has been informed and both the family and the team at Manor House request privacy at this time.’
