Actor Angus Cloud has died on Monday. The Euphoria star was 25 years old.

Angus was best known for playing the drug dealer Fezco in Euphoria between 2019 and 2022.

The actor’s sudden death has raised questions in the minds of fans regarding whether the 25-year-old would appear in season 3 of the popular HBO show Euphoria. Some fans have even demanded that the show be canceled after the actor’s death.

Season 3 of HBO’s wildly successful high school series Euphoria has been affected by the ongoing WGA strike. In addition to the reveal that Barbie Ferreira won’t make an appearance in the third season, we are most likely going to have to wait until 2025 to find out how that Season 2 cliffhanger is resolved.

Francesca Orsi, HBO’s head of drama, stated that Season 3 of Euphoria will “ideally” debut sometime in 2025 in an interview with Deadline in May. “We can’t start shooting, so the delivery of that show — ideally in 2025 — will be determined on when we can pick back up with Sam [Levinson],” Orsi said. Hey, Zendaya herself did tell us it was going to be a while.

There haven’t been any casting announcements made yet aside from Ferreira’s departure. Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, and Storm Reid are all likely to return, as are Angus Cloud and Hunter Schafer.
