Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday shared a health update with his fans in his latest blog entry. Writing about undergoing a surgery due to a ‘medical condition’, the 78-year-old actor did not reveal much about the procedure or was complete as of now. He wrote, “Medical condition …Surgery … Can’t write.” Soon after the post, his fans started wishing him a speedy recovery.

One of user wrote, “My dearest Amitji Namaste Pranam, Pls don’t take any kind of stress, pls don’t write anything, pls do follow all the instructions of the doctors, our prayers for your speedy healing and the healthy recovery, may God protect you from everything, lots of love.”

Last year, the megastar and his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and 9-year-old granddaughter tested positive for COVID-19. He also raised awareness against the deadly disease. 

Big B, who announced his collaboration with Ajay Devgn directorial last year, was busy shooting his forthcoming project ‘Mayday’, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. 

Amitabh was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The film released on Amazon Prime Video last year.

He will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, and ‘Chehre’.
