Actress Kangana Ranaut uploaded a collage of images suggesting that Will Smith is a Sanghi like her after praising Will Smith for hitting Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022 for the latter’s insult about Jada Pinkett Smith. The I Am Legend star was seen doing puja and posing with Sadhguru in the images.

Many celebrities in India reacted to the incident, which drew international attention due to the gravity of the offence. Though many chastised the I Am Legend star for his “uncouth” reaction, Kangana Ranaut praised Will Smith for it.
On Monday, she posted an Instagram Story in which she stated that if someone made a joke about her mother or sister’s condition, she would do the same. “Bas a** move…hope he comes to my #lockup,” he said.

On tuesday, March 29, the actress uploaded a collage of four photos of Will Smith. The Aladdin actor may be seen performing puja in the first two photographs. In the third, he was seen posing with spiritual teacher Sadhguru, and in the fourth, he was seen smacking Chris.
Atop the post, the Manikarnika actress called Will “Sanghi like her” (someone who is a member of the Indian right-wing organisation RSS).

She wrote, “Hence proved Will is Sanghi… woh bhi bigda hua like me.”

Before presenting the Best Documentary nominees at the 94th Academy Awards, Chris Rock cracked a few jokes and asked Will Smith’s wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, about GI Jane 2, referring to her baldness. Jada has mentioned that she suffers from alopecia areata, a hair loss disorder.
While the audience chuckled, Jada rolled her eyes, and Will was shortly spotted approaching the stage and smacking Chris. Will got his first Oscar for Best Actor for the film King Richard minutes later, and during his acceptance speech, he apologised to the Academy for being violent, but he did not use Chris’ name.

Will took to Instagram on Tuesday to formally apologise to Chris by name. A portion of his note stated, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
