On the first day of the Bihar Legislative Assembly session in Patna, JD(U) MLC Sanjay Kumar Jha and BJP MLC Devesh Chandra Thakur arrived in a vintage car saying the act is their contribution towards the pollution-free state, ANI reported.

“CM has resolved to make Bihar a pollution-free state. We’re doing this in line with the resolution,” Thakur told the media.

The five-day session of the state legislature began on Monday, during which all members of the 243-strong newly-constituted assembly will be sworn in.

According to a statement issued by the Vidhan Sabha secretariat, the members will take oath on November 23-24 while Governor Phagu Chauhan will address a joint session of both Houses on November 26.

On November 25, the assembly will elect its new speaker and the session will conclude on November 27 with the government”s reply to the debate on the governor”s address.
