elections, defeating Janata Dal (United) candidate Virendra Kumar Singh. The seat

Sabha constituency.

Kumar Singh is the sitting MLA of the Nabinagar constituency since 2010, who
defeated Gopal Narayan Singh of BJP in 2015.

defeated Gopal Narayan Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2015
assembly elections by a margin of 5,261 votes.
