During a hearing in climate activist Disha Ravi’s bail plea case, Delhi Police on Saturday told the Patiala House Court that Sikhs for Justice, a banned organisation in India, had announced a reward for anyone who hoists a Khalistani flag on India Gate or Red Fort in New Delhi, reported ANI. It also alleged that Canada’s Vancouver is a hotbed for anti-India activities with regard to Khalistan.
The court has reserved its order for Tuesday on Disha Ravi’s bail application. Notably, the 21-year-old was sent to three-day judicial custody on Friday.
“Vancouver is a hotbed for anti-India activities with regard to Khalistan,” said Delhi Police. It added that an organisation in India named Kisan Ekta company is in touch with an organisation in Vancouver.
The police added that somehow the farmers’ protest toolkit, for which Ravi has been in custody since February 14, got leaked on social media and was available in the public domain.
Ravi was arrested on February 14 after police alleged she helped edit the toolkit, which offers basic advice including joining on-the-ground farmers’ protests and showing support on social media.
The police said that some foreign organisations wanted to carry out chaotic activities during Republic Day in the garb of farmers’ protest and that is why the Poetic Justice Foundation is also involved in the case.

Delhi Police had earlier alleged that the contentious toolkit was created by Poetic Justice Foundation and claimed that it was a pro-Khalistan outfit based in Canada.
Notably, the toolkit in question was tweeted by Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg to support the farmers, who are protesting against the Centre’s three new farm laws.
