Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has released a new timetable for class 10 and the 12th board exam for the current academic year. The old time-table has been modified and a revised one has been published which can be viewed on their official website.

According to the new schedule, examinations for both classes 10 and 12 will be starting on the same date- May 4. However, exams for class 10 will end on June 7, whereas class 12th examinations will get over on Jun 14.

Some of the recorded changes in the schedule are in the Science paper for class 10 has been postponed from May 15 to May 21 and the Maths paper which was supposed to be on May 21 has now been pushed back to June 2. For class 12, the physics exam has now been postponed to June 8 which was earlier scheduled for May 13.

Students have spent one whole academic year without going to school and that must have caused a lot of anxiety. Although a structure of digital education was developed, tensions are bound to exist. Classes have resumed in several schools across India, which were closed in March, last year, due to COVID-19 pandemic.
