Megastar Rajinikanth, who last month announced that he will not enter politics over his health concerns, on Monday appealed to fans to not organise any events to urge him to reconsider his decision over his political career.

Rajinikanth said he has already made his decision, he would not enter politics and has already explained the reasons for it, a day after the superstar’s fans held an agitation in Chennai, urging him to reverse his choice.

He appealed to his fans to not organise such events seeking him to enter politics and make him more and more sad.

“I have explained reasons for my inability (to enter politics) in detail. I have conveyed my decision. Please don’t pain me again and again asking me to enter politics by organising such events,” Rajinikanth said, in a tweet.

Last year in December, the ‘Thalaiva’ actor was admitted to hospital in Hyderabad over fluctuation in his blood pressure after which he declared would not enter politics given his health condition vis-a-vis the coronavirus pandemic. The actor underwent a renal transplant in 2016 and is on immunosuppressants.
