The 67th Filmfare Awards 2022 were held on August 30, 2022. The event is scheduled to premiere on September 9, 2022, in collaboration with Colors TV. The award show was hosted by Ranveer Singh. His wife Deepika Padukone came to support her husband as he received the Best Actor trophy wearing casual attire.
The actress was seen wearing a baggy blue shirt paired with dark blue wide legged denim jeans. The official Filmfare page took to their social media page and shared a few pictures of Ranveer Singh receiving the award, in the presence of Deepika Padukone and Karan Johar. The post was captioned, “#RanveerSingh shares the stage at the 67th #Wolf777newsFilmfareAwards 2022 stage with wife, actor and producer #DeepikaPadukone. While some of Deepika Padukone’s fans were worried while some were really impressed with her looks. “Deepika reminded me of Meryl Streep when she went to an international movie festival with jeans and glasses i was shocked be her and then i saw Deepika like her now..I’m like”, read a comment on the post.
The official Filmfare page also tweeted a photo of the Ram Leela actor receiving the award from Karan Johar. They captioned the post as, ““#RanveerSingh accepts the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) trophy from filmmaker #KaranJohar. On the work front, the actress will be next seen in the movie Pathaan. The movie will also star Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Pathan is scheduled to release on January 2023. The actress will also be seen in Fighter, opposite Hrithik Roshan.
