The Hathras assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh (UP) will see Kuldeep Kumar Singh of the Indian National Congress (INC) take on Anjula Mahor of the BJP, Brij Mohan of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Sanjeev Kumar of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), and Kishan Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the 2022 UP Assembly elections.
Hari Shankar Mahor of the BJP had won the seat in 2017 Assembly elections, defeating runner-up Braj Mohan Rahi of the BSP by a margin of 70,661 votes.

In the 2012 Assembly election, BSP’s Genda Lal Chaudhary had won the seat by defeating the BJP’s Rajesh Kumar by a margin of 8,673 votes.
The Hathras assembly constituency falls under the Hathras district in UP and is one of the five assembly constituencies under the Hathras Lok Sabha constituency.
The Hathras assembly constituency had been dominated by the BSP till 2017, namely, by its candidate Ramveer Upadhayay, who held the assembly seat from 1996 to 2012.

The Hathras assembly constituency will vote in the third phase of the UP Assembly elections in 2022 on February 20, when 59 assembly seats, spread across 16 districts, will go to the polls. UP is voting in seven phases, and the last phase will be held on March 3.
Results will be declared on March 10, along with results of elections being held in other states and Union Territories (UTs).
