Bihar’s Mahagathbandhan which is a grand alliance of several political parties, including Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Indian National Congress (INC), released its manifesto on Saturday, ANI reported. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and INC’s Randeep Singh Surjewala, among others, were present at the event.

Declaring Tejashwi Yadav as the face of Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, Surjewala said, if they form a government under the leadership of Yadav, they would pass a Bill in the first Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) session to scrap the three “anti-farm laws,” ANI reported.

The Assembly election in Bihar will be held in three phases: October 28, November 3 and 7. CM and Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar is the chief ministerial candidate for the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
