Reena Rai, Deep Sidhu‘s rumoured girlfriend, has reacted to the Punjabi actor’s death with an Instagram post.
Rai said that she was ‘dead within’ after her ‘soulmate’ Sidhu died. She went on to say that they were making plans for their future together. According to reports, Rai was with Sidhu when the tragedy occurred on Tuesday night. Sidhu died on his way to the hospital, but she survived the vehicle accident.

“I’m shattered, I’m dead within, please return to your soulmate, whom you swore would never abandon in this lifetime. I love you, Jaan, my soul boy, you are my heartbeat. As I lay in the hospital bed today, I heard you walk in and mumble, “I adore my Jaan.” I know you’ll be with me forever. We were planning our future together, and now you’re gone. Soulmates don’t part ways, and I’ll see you on the other side, Jaan,” she added. She also sent him a few photos in addition to the text.

Fans expressed their love and support for Reena. “My prayers and strength are with you, “a follower commented, “Remain strong!!”, “I’m really sad for your loss,” added yet another. Deep and Reena had a romantic Valentine’s Day together. Reena posted a photo from the couple’s date night on Monday. Reena was wearing a flowery white dress in the photo, while Deep was dressed in semi-formal attire for the occasion. The floor was covered in rose petals. She posted the photo and wished her fans a ‘happy Valentine’s Day.’ Soon after his death, the photo became viral.

Sidhu died on Tuesday when his car collided with a truck on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal road in Haryana’s Sonipat district. He was one of the primary suspects in the Red Fort incident last year. “Mr Sidhu was travelling from Delhi to Bhatinda in Punjab when his automobile slammed a trailer truck,” according to authorities.
