Tokyo Olympics: Indian women's hockey team loses 1-2 against Argentina

A bunch of 18 fearless and determined Indian women had done the unthinkable when they stunned three-time champions Australia 1-0 on Monday to enter the Olympic semifinals for the first time.

4.34pm: GOAL!!! Argentina has scored off a penalty corner.
44.29pm: Argentina are trying to dominate a weary Indian side. India has hardly had any possession in the second half, while Argentina have already penetrated the circle thrice.
4.23pm: The second half has begun.Both Argentina and India would be looking to score an early goal and put pressure on the other side.
4.13pm: At half-time, there is nothing to separate the two sides with both India and Argentine having scored a goal apiece.
4.08pm: India look to attack now. Failed to score off a penalty corner, but the Indian women have managed to win another. But the video umpire, has given the decision in favour of Argentina, and India do not have a PC.
3.59pm: Halfway into the 2nd quarter, Argentina are leading India in both possession and circle penetration.
3.55pm: Argentina equalise with a penalty corner 3 minutes into the penalty corner. India 1, Argentina - 1.
3:52pm: Argentina get a penalty corner early in the second quarter but the threat was negated by a solid Indian defence. India still leads 1-0.
3.50pm: The pace of play in the first quarter could be an indication that the match would have a lot of twists and turns. Both teams are not letting an inch.
3.49pm: First quarter ends. India - 1, Argentina - 0.
3.42pm: 10 minutes into the first quarter, and India have managed to stay 1-0 ahead despite an onslaught from the Argentina forwards. The Indian defence has thwarted all attempts so far.
3.36pm: GOAL!!! With a drag-flick, Gurjit Kaur has sent the ball past the penalty circle into the Argentine goal to put India in the lead just 2 minutes into the game.
